Job Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the financial, operational, and customer service performance of Allianz Egypt Retail Insurance Products namely, Motor Insurance (Retail, Corporate and Commercial), Home Insurance, SME's Property Insurance, Personal Accident, Travel Insurance and Motor ACT. This includes meeting budgeted targets for growth, expense management and profits by making sure the department operates efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies according to the company’s financial objectives while achieving profitable growth.
• Maintain a competitive advantage by utilizing competitive intelligence obtained from the local market in terms of pricing and producers.  Ensure that the company is viewed as a key insurance carrier for retail insurance within the local market.
• Monitor and report performance on P&L, combined ratio, hit ratio, retention ratio and service performance.
• Manage actual performance against respective KPI’s.
• Work closely with Brokers and agents to renew existing accounts and write new business.
• Support sales by participating in sales calls and customer visits.
• Work with different internal departments to facilitate achieving set strategies.
• Lead and Manage Team Performance:  Talent Identification, assess team performance, ensure team engagement, and set common team goals.
• Develop team through ongoing PDPs and implementation of succession plans.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience preferably in a multinational environment.
• Experience in dealing with insurance regulators and other regulatory bodies.
• Bachelor’s degree Business, Economics, Insurance, or related field.  
• A professional insurance certificate is a plus.
