Senior Specialist - External Communication

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an external positive positioning and branding reputation through implementing the external communication strategy, ensuring that all activities and news get proper and timely coverage.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
  • Develop a consistent content calendar with key messaging (to be disseminating/covered well via proper channels & occasions).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
  • Handle budget utilization for all external communications and PR activities.
  • Map collaboration plans and manage corporate relationships with media, relevant government entities, strategic partners, and different stakeholders.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
  • Draft and update communications master narratives, Allianz standard for communications(external comms part), and reputational / crisis management manuals in conjunction with PR agency professionals.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
  • Research industry and market trends and identify original and compelling themes/storylines to incorporate into Allianz Master Narrative / Key Messaging Bank.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
  • Monitor and analyze media on a daily basis and measure reach and impact of communications.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
  • Arrange required media training, reporting, external events management, and digital PR campaigns.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
  • Plan, edit, write content and design, in addition to draft messages, scripts & speeches for senior executives / Board Members for a variety of external communications channels.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
  • Use information and partnerships to build CSR / CSV Campaigns through implementing different community initiatives, in line with corporate strategic objectives, guidelines, and sustainable development framework.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
  • Execute CSR strategy while building strategic relations with community partners and NGO sand handling budget utilization for  CSR activities.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
  • Ensure alignment with the brand team to guarantee consistency in the execution of brand strategy and the compliance of all visual & textual content to the organization’s brand guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of intensive experience in External Communications, PR, and Corporate Responsibility in PR agencies
  • Experience in a multinational company / Financial Institution / Telecom / Multinational NGOs is a plus.
  • Exposure to Digital PR
  • Events and Stakeholder Management
  • Must have excellent English and Arabic communication and copywriting skills.
