Unit Manager - Direct Retail Sales

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing the annual plan for the DRS team in terms of topline, expenses, training, remuneration, growth ideas.
  • Manage the recruitment, training (in cooperation with training & development dept.) & coaching of the team, to consistently ensure high competence & skills within the sales team, as well as develop, communicate & assign performance targets & appraise the performance of subordinate teams & provide them with performance feedback as needed.
  • Establish a set of regular performance and planning reports in accordance with expectations of the CSO and the Head of channel, which includes but is not limited to activities, production figures, forecast and business plans.
  • Take full responsibility of Affinity projects and Digital sales outputs after agreements and contracts are finalized. Presenting activities and production figures to the CSO and the Head of Channel with a fixed frequency.
  • Controlling and monitoring the portfolio cancelations/persistency.
  • Creating a promotion plan and start to have layers within the team - formulating sales managers and project managers.
  • Initiate strategic initiatives with peers and head of channel to ensure enhancement.
  • Implementing the watchlist in collaboration with the HR FSA.
  • Monitoring collection, cancelations and persistency of the portfolio and controlling these figures.

Job Qualifications:

  • Excellent Leadership in managing and motivating teams.
  • Mature, diplomatic attitude and aptitude in providing partnership and customer focus.
  • Successful track record in executing business plans by managing different teams.
  • At least 7-10 years of managing sales teams.
  • Post graduate studies (MBA).
  • LOMA or CII
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management.
  • Fluency in English.
